You are correct, there is one root state in a Self script, and states and functions must be self contained in a script file, they cannot call other states or functions in other scripts.

If you really need to redirect to another script file, you can use a redirect() or srai() operation to redirect to another question that the script answers.

Thanks for your help.  Please allow me to get confirmation on a related assumption while we are at it.  It is my understanding that there can be only one root state per script, and a script root state cannot execute a "goto" to the root state of another script.  If this assumption is incorrect please so indicate.  Thanks.

Yes, scripts are run in-order.

For AIML scripts, you can also select "merge" when importing to merge them together, if you want their patterns to execute at the same precedence level.

Bot Libre 6.1 includes new bot analytics to enable tracking and visualizing your bot's activity, engagement, and performance. Analytics include conversations, messages, engagement, confidence, sentiment, response time, social media analytics, and many others. Analytics can be graphed for different time periods, or the raw data can be given in a table.

To load a script into your bot go to your bot's Admin Console (click on the gear icon or menu on the bot's page).
Then click on the Scripts page (script icon or menu).
Click on the upload icon to upload a script file, or the add (green plus) icon the create a new script and paste the text.

I checked your bot, 'r0ckteacher' and do not see any repeats in its conversation log.

Bots will reply with the responses or scripts that you train them with. If you have an empty bot with no trained responses it will just repeat your input back to you. Also be careful not to enable learning, otherwise the bot will learn your input as new responses.

Hi. The test gui only repeats back what I type instead of answering questions. There are no error messages.

Each bot interaction occurs in the context of a conversation. Bots store all their conversations in their knowledge base.

There is a web API "get-conversations" that will let you query the bot's conversations using a "response-search" XML argument.

I have implemented chatbot in android application. I'll chat many times with chatbot, when I closed the application and reopen the application all chats history were gone. So in that case, I have to maintain my chat history with chatbot how it will achieved, or else I have to use some sqlite data to manage history with chatbot, or have is there any alternate option to do that.
